Duncan McLeish owns a ranch. Unlike most ranches, this one is in the Scottish Highlands. Having inherited a failing farm from his grandfather, he turns it into a successful business. He has friends and he loves his home, but he’s lonely, and not even infrequent trips to Glasgow and Edinburgh slake that thirst to find someone. Then Drew Sinclair walks into his life.
Drew Sinclair is tantalizingly close to getting his clothing brand noticed in the industry. He and his business partner, Joy, create individual dresses, while, on the side, Drew produces a line of men’s lingerie. He visits Scotland to design a bridal gown for his sister, Jenna, who is marrying Duncan’s best friend at Christmas.
Duncan and Drew have nothing except their Highland upbringing in common, but they say opposites attract, and the attraction is immediate. Is this simply a summer fling, or can two men who live such opposite lives miles away from each other find a way to love?

Author Bio
As the blurb says: opposites attract. And, at first
glance, Drew and Duncan couldn’t be more different if they tried. Drew is out
and proud, flamboyant, and mostly happy with his busy life in London, where he
needs to be if he wants to make his breakthrough in the fashion industry.
Duncan on the other hand is not entirely sure what he is, bi or gay, doesn’t really
want the people in his small community to know he is attracted to men, keeps
his own counsel, and is not prone to loud displays of any emotion, least of all
attraction. If the two men have something in common apart from the fact they
both have their roots in the Scottish Highlands, it is the fact that neither is
looking for a hook-up, never mind anything beyond that.
But the attraction is undeniably there, from the
very first moment Drew and Duncan set eyes on each other, and Duncan’s feeble
attempts to keep his distance really don’t stand a chance against Drew’s
charms.
And thus starts a very sexy story about two men
finding their way towards each other and a happily ever after despite the
apparently insurmountable obstacles they face. To the say the journey is a
shock to poor Duncan’s system is a gross understatement. He goes from almost
completely innocent and closeted to discovering a kinky and horny side he never
knew he had, literally almost overnight. And it was a delight to watch.
Of course the path to true love never runs smoothly,
especially not when the worlds in which the two men live are as far apart, both
figuratively and physically, as Drew and Duncan’s are. Sometimes wanting
something to be just a fling isn’t enough for it to not develop into something
more. And once feelings have been unleashed as well as acknowledged, it’s going
to take some angst, a good dose of soul searching, and plenty of practical
thinking before they achieve the happiness they deserve.
With two endearing protagonists, a fabulous and
colourful cast of secondary characters, a potential sequel already lined up,
lots of steamy scenes, and plenty moments to make you smile or laugh out loud,
this story will keep you entertained from start to finish. Not to mention that
the vivid and glorious descriptions of the Scottish Highlands may well tempt
you to plan a visit of your own.
